  From the moment we arrived, we felt we could relax. Everything was perfect. A very peaceful location, with just one other hut away from us. The shepherds hut... read more had everything we needed, even two cold beers and chocolates in the fridge. The hot tub was made up ready for us and the sauna was lovely, with views over the lake. The ducks and the black swans became our friends and we enjoyed feeding them and having them waiting for us to wake up and feed them. The hut itself was very clean with everything you could need. Bathroom was lovely with a good hot shower and complimentary shower gel etc and fluffy white towels.
We had a great break and hope to book again soon. Highly recommend if you just want peace quiet and tranquility.

I stayed for 4 night's and caught 3 beautiful fish ,a PD Mirror over 26lbs, my first Croatian carp over 18lbs and to top that my first Catfish of 31lbs.
The place lives up to its name "Serenity".
Could not wish for anything more.
Andy was a great host offering tips with the fishing and on hand if you needed him.
Andy you should be very proud of your achievements with this place.
My dream is owning a place like this.
I will definitely be back.

  Me and my boyfriend stayed for 2 nights for a break away from reality and our stay done exactly that!

The grounds were simply stunning, a immaculately kept fishing... read more lake. The hut itself was amazing provided everything you could possibly need or want for you stay.
We absolutely loved the attention to detail with the welcoming gift left in the fridge on our arrival with chocolate,larger and biscuits what more could you want!
The shampoo,conditioner etc in the bathroom were another added bonus that smelt amazing.

Overall our stay was amazing, both our highlight was the amazing hot tub set just a few short steps out of the hut , it was so simple to set up and heat using the instructions left in the welcome book!
The fan was also an amazing to find when we first walked in as it was a extremely hot day and we worried we would be to hot to sleep!

We needed no contact with the owners during our stay by just not requiring them but we were reassured that if we needed them they were always a phone call or text away to help or answer any questions.



Highly recommend to anyone looking to book this for a break or relaxing few days away!

Easy to use hot tub but I suggest bringing sliders/flip flops for when you're in and out. 100% worth the money if your looking for a calm & relaxing get away.   Couldn’t fault it. It was far better than we expected. The hosts have it spot on - from the hot tub, to the sauna, to the perfectly equipped kitchen. Everything... read more was so straight forward. The bathroom was clean, shower was hot and powerful enough. Thought it would be cramped in an attempt to squeeze everything into the hut but it wasn’t at all. There are three huts situated around the lake but they aren’t too close and it still feels private. It was perfect for us, and just what we needed. Would come back again in a heartbeat. I had so many friends ask where i was and how they could book!
