It was exactly as described and looked in the pictures, the host gave clear instructions on where the key... read more would be and the code to get it. Along with where all the immunity were kept.
The hot tub was very easy to use, Once again there is clear instructions on how to use it. I.e. clean and refilled due to being fresh water.
It is a very nice area away from the main roads, and if you enjoy looking at the stars this is a great spot for that. on one evening, we got the hammocks and put them up and just lied there for an hour looking at the stars having a drink.
I fully recommend going to this destination if you need to have a break or just fancy relaxing for the weekend.

  Had a lovely couple of days away for my partners birthday. He loved the fishing and the hut was cosy and spotless. Andy is a lovely guy and great host!

  The owner was really nice and super helpful. The cabin was peaceful but very very cold (however we did come on a freezing weekend) and only discovered the portable heater... read more the next day. The shower wasn’t always hot and was mainly cold so we had to ask him to come and sort it and he said it has something to do with others using the hot tub so we had to wait but he came after and sorted it out straight away. Because of the freezing weather we were without water all night but it returned in the morning. The water pressure was also not good very little water was coming out of the shower. I can imagine in the summer this place would be 10/10 apart from the shower. The host allowed us a late check in as no one else was coming that day which was very kind and we are very grateful. Overall he was very kind and immediately responsive and the place was comfortable and cozy!

  This is an absolutely stunning place to stay. We stayed two nights for such a reasonable price and had the best time (even though the weather was awful). The location... read more is rural and peaceful, there are so many animals on site that come up to your hut each morning and the lake is lovely. The huts are enclosed in their own area, making them feel more secure. It was our first time using a log burner hot tub and we were nervous to use this but it was easy to use as the instructions are really clear. The hot tub was one of the highlights from our stay, we used it even when it was snowing. The hut itself was spotless, tidy and modern. There was a place for everything and it didn’t feel small. There is also a drawer in the kitchen completely full of handy utensils that may need to be used whilst camping. We’re not into fishing so can’t comment on the fishing aspect but the lake is a decent size. I absolutely loved the furnishings inside the hut, it make it so cosy. There is also a bbq, fire pit and sauna that can be used which is a nice addition.

If you’re staying here in the winter months, I would suggest arriving on site prior to it getting dark, as this made it a little difficult for us to get in and work out where things were and I would also suggest bringing a couple of blankets and some slippers because although the heaters are great when they’ve been on for a while, it does take some time for the hut to heat up in the cold weather and the floors can be cold.

Andy and the team were amazing! We were able to communicate easily through air bnb and also through the phone, he was always happy to help if we had any issues despite the fact that I am sure he was busy.
