  We had a lovely weekend at serenity lakes, with beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Although there were two other shepherds huts there was so much privacy that we felt we were... read more the only ones there. The hut was very comfortable and had everything that you needed for a getaway, we felt right at home. The sauna and and hot tub was definitely the cherry on top for a relaxing weekend away.

Andy was a fantastic host who was very responsive to any questions which we had and gave good recommendations.

Five stars all round, we’ll definitely be back!

  From the moment we arrived, we felt we could relax. Everything was perfect. A very peaceful location, with just one other hut away from us. The shepherds hut... read more had everything we needed, even two cold beers and chocolates in the fridge. The hot tub was made up ready for us and the sauna was lovely, with views over the lake. The ducks and the black swans became our friends and we enjoyed feeding them and having them waiting for us to wake up and feed them. The hut itself was very clean with everything you could need. Bathroom was lovely with a good hot shower and complimentary shower gel etc and fluffy white towels.
We had a great break and hope to book again soon. Highly recommend if you just want peace quiet and tranquility.

  Me and my boyfriend stayed for 2 nights for a break away from reality and our stay done exactly that!

The grounds were simply stunning, a immaculately kept fishing... read more lake. The hut itself was amazing provided everything you could possibly need or want for you stay.
We absolutely loved the attention to detail with the welcoming gift left in the fridge on our arrival with chocolate,larger and biscuits what more could you want!
The shampoo,conditioner etc in the bathroom were another added bonus that smelt amazing.

Overall our stay was amazing, both our highlight was the amazing hot tub set just a few short steps out of the hut , it was so simple to set up and heat using the instructions left in the welcome book!
The fan was also an amazing to find when we first walked in as it was a extremely hot day and we worried we would be to hot to sleep!

We needed no contact with the owners during our stay by just not requiring them but we were reassured that if we needed them they were always a phone call or text away to help or answer any questions.



Highly recommend to anyone looking to book this for a break or relaxing few days away!

We were surprised that the hot tub only needed heating once in the day and then kept its temperature for most of the day! The huts and lake are in a contained fenced area so it felt very safe and well looked after! And it was amazing being close to so many beautiful horses! The only negative we found was the wifi was not very good, but if you’re going here to have a peaceful weekend away from phones and computers then this is perfect! The bed was very comfortable and it was beautiful to wake up to 360° views of countryside. Perfect little retreat with all the right comforts.
