The hut was beautiful and we loved the decor, someone put a lot of thought into making it cosy and homelike. This is a wonderful place to visit and be closer to nature! A must have break!   our stay was the most relaxing we have had in a very long time. the lake is hard to fish but that's not a bad thing, owner on site to... read more offer a hand if needed but also so private. the hot tub was sublime and the bespoke fire pits and bbqs were a lovely detail. this place has all the things to need to fully relax in nature. evey detail has bee thought of .. even hammocks. I really can not rate this stay enough. if you are a fisherman, its ideal for a few nights away with the misses . so clean too !!!!

  Excellent location for seeing all kinds of wildlife (especially the black swans!). Perfect for relaxing by the lake and walking around the grounds. Plenty of opportunities to head out on... read more walks and cycling - and close enough to Haverhill town if wanted to head out to shops/restaurants/pubs etc. Many other nearby towns/villages also well worth visiting (especially Clare which we enjoyed).

Thought it would be cramped in an attempt to squeeze everything into the hut but it wasn’t at all. There are three huts situated around the lake but they aren’t too close and it still feels private. It was perfect for us, and just what we needed. Would come back again in a heartbeat. I had so many friends ask where i was and how they could book!

I stayed for 4 night's and caught 3 beautiful fish ,a PD Mirror over 26lbs, my first Croatian carp over 18lbs and to top that my first Catfish of 31lbs.
The place lives up to its name "Serenity".
Could not wish for anything more.
Andy was a great host offering tips with the fishing and on hand if you needed him.
Andy you should be very proud of your achievements with this place.
My dream is owning a place like this.
I will definitely be back.

There are two nice places to sit and relax, looking... read more at a lovely view of the lake and horses in the neighbouring fields. Adding the hot tub is a must and the sauna was fun to try out.

  It was our second visit and we had a super relaxing time again! The hot tub and sauna are great and bed is comfy!
